Two years after her debut who brought her to the international attention, Emika is ready to present her new album “DVA”, out at the beginning of June. For now she has a new video out: it’s called “She beats” and it’s dark, ominous and sexy at the same time. No wonder: the video was directed by visionary photographer and filmmaker Matt Lambert.

Dopo un primo album diventato piccolo oggetto di culto, Emika pubblicherà all’inizio di giugno il nuovo disco “DVA”. Intanto è uscito il nuovo video “She beats”, che riesce ad essere sexy, inquietante e minaccioso allo stesso tempo. Non c’è da stupirsi, visto che è stato diretto dal filmmaker e fotografo Matt Lambert, che di queste cose ha fatto il suo marchio di fabbrica.

“1000 frames in front of a club” è uno dei Tumblr più bizzarri tra tutti quelli che rendono omaggio a Berlino. È esattamente quello che il titolo promette: un video di mille frames di quello che succede davanti alle porte dei club chiusi.
Everyone’s favourite punchingball, the Barbie Dreamhouse Experience, has opened its doors today. It has already caused endless protests (see previous article) and it’s been called everything from “pink hell” to “horror house” (read on Spiegel Online). Today the activists from Femen joined in on the fun.

Anche in tedesco il Cornetto nel senso di gelato fa venire pensieri poco puri, specialmente adesso che una cantante di nome Marla Blumenblatt i ha fatto una canzone piena di doppi sensi. Lei è una che si ispira al burlesque e agli anni ‘50 e cerca di fare arrossire noi signorine perbene con il suo album “Look at all the fucks I give”, che potrei tradurre più o meno come “guarda quanto non me ne frega un cazzo”.
